This Autism Ribbon Run is the signature awareness and fundraising event of the Autism Society of North Carolina. Over the past six years this event has raised over $500,000 to help provide vital services for the 30,000 North Carolina families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Autism Spectrum Disorder is the second most common developmental disability and affects 1 of every 166 children born today.
The Autism Ribbon Run is a USATF certified 5K race, and includes a 1 Mile fun-run, and Tot-Trot for children aged 6 and under.
