The Autism Society of North Carolina strives to create a community where people within the autism spectrum and their families receive respect, services, and supports based on individual differences, needs, and preferences.

The Society supports individuals and families through:

Advocacy

Offering regional parent advocates statewide to assist parents and individuals in navigating the maze of services, school issues, and supports. Parent Advocates also help connect families locally. Click here for more info about Advocacy Services.

Rec

The Autism Society of North Carolina employs a recreation therapist who works primarily out of the Raleigh office, but is available for consultation and limited services across the state. For more info, click here.

Camp

Providing the nation’s largest summer camp program for children, teens, and adults on the autism spectrum the Autism Society of North Carolina will offer residential summer camp services for the 34th consecutive year in 2005. For more information about the Summer Camp program, click here.

Community

The Autism Society of North Carolina provides Community-based programs for children and adults with autism in different parts of the state.
