The Autism Society of North Carolina provides supported living services by operating supported living homes across the state.
Providing resources and supports for community involvement and individuals choices are priorities of the programs. Family involvement is highly encouraged and supported. Most residents families live in the same town where the supported living home is located.
Residents daily activities may include community volunteer opportunities, participation is a day program, performing chores to maintain the home.
Currently, there are no supported living openings. The Autism Society maintains a list of families who are interested in pursuing creative residential options for their children.
