ASNC is offering the following new Social Recreation opportunities in Greenville, Carteret County, Brunswick County, and Wilmington, with support from Trillium Health Resources. (In Brunswick, only Summer Day Camp is available this year.)
For more details on all of the programs, including locations and the level of care, click here.
Beginning soon! We are taking interest applications from adults on the spectrum in each location. Please visit the registration page to learn more and let us know you are interested in taking part.
Afterschool programs coincide with the school year in Greenville, Wilmington, and Carteret County and are open to school-age children on the autism spectrum. Online registration is ongoing; we are currently full in each location, but accept waitlist applications at any time.
Summer Day Camp
Apply starting March 1 on our registration page. The camps are open to individuals on the autism spectrum, ages 4-22, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. Campers take part in swimming, arts and crafts, gym time, and more with a counselor-to-camper ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 based on campers’ needs.
We plan to start programs such as community outings, meet-ups, and date night respite beginning in spring 2017. Check back for updates.
