Family Camping weekends are a great opportunity for families to experience all that camp has to offer! Come spend some family time together in a safe and fun setting that is designed to meet the needs of your campers on the autism spectrum but will also provide a lot of fun for the whole family. Your weekend will include:
Saturday: Family Camping check-in will be from noon to 3 p.m. We hope you will arrive in time to enjoy our Family Fun Days activities from 12 to 5 p.m. In the evening, a dinner of pizza, salad, drinks, and dessert will be provided. Activities after dinner include a campfire with s’mores and access to the field, playground, hiking trails, gym, and activity center before an overnight stay in our cabins.
Sunday: A light continental breakfast will be provided in our dining hall. Families may enjoy the camp facilities all morning before checkout at noon.
Cost: The rate for a family of up to four is $125, with a fee of $10 for each additional family member. For families of two, the rate is $90. If you have a camper or RV, please call the camp director for a rate quote and to make arrangements.
Cabins: Our cabins include indoor plumbing, bathrooms, showers, and central air/heat. Linens and towels are not provided. Families will have private sleeping areas but might share a larger communal bathroom – containing two toilet stalls, two sinks and two shower stalls – with one or two other families. All of our beds are twin-size bunk beds with foam mattresses. We have larger rooms with nine bunks for larger families or families who ask to share space. We also have small, “private” rooms with one bunk bed; families would have access to as many of these rooms as needed to accommodate the whole family.
