Awareness Month film showing (Chapel Hill)

Chapel Hill Parks & Recreation’s Adapted Recreation program and the Autism Society of North Carolina’s Orange/Chatham County Chapter invite you to a reception and viewing of the comedy/drama, “Asperger’s Are Us.”

“In this coming of age documentary, four friends on the Autism spectrum whom have bonded through humor and performed as the comedy troupe ‘Asperger’s Are Us’ will prepare for one final, ambitious show before going their separate ways.”

One viewer wrote, “I think this documentary on these young men was this fantastic mix between complete transparency and an in depth view of what it is like to maintain interpersonal relationships that grow and change while managing life as what they call an “Aspie.”
