Wake County playdate at the sprayground

Join the Wake Chapter for some fun in the sun at the Splash Pad at Knightdale Station Park, 810 N. First Ave.! The park offers 2,000 square foot of water play fun and a deck containing two shade structures and benches. The splash pad itself is fenced in but the fence is under construction in two areas.

You can bring some chairs and blankets to place on the inside and outside of the fence, but tents are not allowed. Be sure to bring sunscreen, swimsuits, towels, water bottles, and snacks!

There is no age limit with this playdate. If your autistic loved one enjoys the water, bring them by! Siblings are also welcome.

Amy Hinton will be there to welcome our families. RSVPing is not necessary, however if you do RSVP for this event, Amy will be sure to contact you in case we have to cancel due to weather. You can reach Amy via email at agibbons28@yahoo.com if you have any questions or would like to tell her you plan to be there.

If you want to make a day out of it with the family, there is plenty to do at Knightdale Station Park. They have a wonderful regular playground, a multipurpose trail where you can bike or scooter, picnic structures, large lawn to play on, and a dog park.

The Wake County Chapter provides a place for individuals with autism and their families to meet, share, and learn about autism.
