Now more than ever, individuals with autism and their families need you! Today in North Carolina up to 1 of every 36 children born may be diagnosed with autism (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). The Autism Society of North Carolina hosts six (6) Run/Walk for Autism events annually, three in the spring (Crystal Coast in Beaufort, Eastern in Greenville, and Coastal NC in Wilmington), and three in the fall (WNC in Fletcher, Triad in Greensboro, and Triangle in Raleigh).
The proceeds raised from each event will stay in your local community, helping fund programs and support services for local autistic adults and families who have a loved one with autism. Your participation in one or more of these events supports your neighbors and your community!
