Q – Will the event be recorded or can I attend virtually?

A – No, we are not offering a virtual attendee option or recording the conference this year.

 

Q – Will there be childcare? Can my child attend with me?

A – We do not offer childcare for the conference. The conference is intended for adults only.

 

Q – Do you offer interpretation services?

A – The conference is presented in English. We will have simultaneous Spanish interpretation.

 

Q – I have special dietary needs. Will I be able to eat on site?

A – We make every effort to accommodate a variety of dietary needs for event. Vegetarian options will be available, but the Autism Society of North Carolina cannot guarantee that the available options avoid all food allergies. Please review the menu in advance.

 

Q – My plans have changed. Can I get a refund?

A – Yes, Refunds are allowed if you cancel prior to 7 days of the event. Review your confirmation email for cancellation and refund request instructions.

 

Q – I/my child has Medicaid Innovations Waiver funding. Can this be used to pay the registration fee(s)?

A – Yes. If you or your child receive Innovations Waiver funding, the Natural Supports Education funding component of the waiver does provide funds to attend conferences. Contact your MCO Care Manager/Coordinator to update your annual plan and help with submitting your registration.
