Register now for the 12th annual Coastal NC Run/Walk for Autism on Saturday, April 23, at UNCW Track & Field in Wilmington!
As many as 1 in 44 children may be diagnosed with autism in North Carolina. You can make a difference in the lives of people with autism and their families by registering for the Coastal NC Run/Walk for Autism and recruiting family members, friends, and co-workers to join your team and raise donations ā now is the time to start!
Proceeds from the Coastal NC Run/Walk for Autism will fund local programs of the Autism Society of North Carolina, the leading statewide resource organization serving people in NC across the spectrum throughout their lifespans. Participation in this event has helped ASNC to open a Social Recreation Center in Wilmington that offers summer day camps, afterschool care, and adult programs. Funding from the Run/Walk also enabled ASNC to bring other programs to the region, including LifeLong Interventions, ASNCās comprehensive treatment program for children and adults, and workshops with ASNC clinical experts.
The Coastal NC Run/Walk for Autism will have something for everyone! Join us for the 5K (competitive race and noncompetitive options available), or the one-mile fun run/walk. Come be a part of our community for this fun day!
