The Hoke County Chapter meets on the third Tuesday of each month and provides a place for families of children and adults with autism to meet, share, and learn about autism.
In this meeting, we will have a mindfulness and self-care workshop with Andrea Abbott, LCSW, RPT. Participants will learn the effects of stress on their physical and psychological functioning. You will learn a range of self-care strategies that may be helpful to handle stress and learn how to incorporate mindfulness to become more calm, relaxed, and collected. This workshop is interactive, and participants will develop individualized self-care plans.
