Join us for the 6th annual Surry County Walk for Autism on Saturday, April 29, at Riverside Park in Mount Airy!

As many as 1 in 59 children may be diagnosed with autism in North Carolina. You can make a difference in the lives of children with autism and their families by registering for the Surry County Walk for Autism. Registration for the walk without a shirt is $10, and registration with an event T-shirt is $15 ($2 more for 2XL or 3XL). You can make an even bigger impact by recruiting family members, friends, and co-workers to form a team and raise donations. If your team sells at least 20 T-shirts by April 7, the team name can be added to the shirt ā€” now is the time to start!

Proceeds from the Surry County Walk for Autism will fund local programs of the Autism Society of North Carolina, the leading statewide resource organization serving the over 65,000 people in NC across the spectrum throughout their lifespans. Everyone knows someone affected by autism ā€” maybe your brother, cousin, a friend at school, neighbor, or co-worker. Join others on April 29 to make a difference in the life of someone you care about with Autism Spectrum Disorder. You can help!

The Surry County Walk for Autism will have something for everyone! Join us for the awareness walk or Zumba. The family-friendly event will also offer vendor space where local support resources are showcased. Come be a part of our community for this fun day!
