Social Recreation in Wilmington helped Wren blossom in her communication skills and independence – giving peace of mind to her mother, Erin.

Wren is becoming the person she was meant to be with the help of the Autism Society of North Carolina’s programs in Wilmington, including Social Recreation. Before, Wren would become frustrated when she couldn’t communicate. Now, she is able to connect with her friends, and her mother says that has resulted in increased independence for Wren.

Erin, Wren’s mother, knew that the Autism Society of North Carolina would help Wren. What Erin didn’t know was how much the organization would help her. She has peace of mind seeing the progress that Wren has made, and she is able to focus on her business because Wren is cared for at Social Recreation.
